PM Modi Launches Fit India Movement
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nation-wide “Fit India Movement” and appealed to every citizen to remain healthy and fit. The event was launched at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi at 10 am.
After a colourful presentation of India’s indigenous martial art forms, dances and sports, PM Modi paid tribute to Dhyan Chand. He said, “On this day, a great sportsperson was born, Major Dhyan Chand. He amazed the world with his fitness, stamina, and hockey stick.”
CamScanner App Removed From Google Play Store Over Advertising Malware
CamScanner has been removed from the Google Play Store after it was found to come with an advertising malware. The app has been found containing a malware module identified as ‘Trojan-Dropper.AndroidOS.Necro.n’ by Kaspersky Lab. The malware has been found only on the Android version of CamScanner app. It seems that the iOS version, which is still available, is not infected in any way.
12th India Security Summit held in New Delhi
The 12th India Security Summit was held in new Delhi. It was organised by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India and officially supported by Union Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
